SYREETA

It's always good to have an end-of-week track heading into the weekend, and this morning I've chosen Syreeta's "I Love Every Little Thing About You" from her debut album, Syreeta (1972), on Motown Records.

And I just love the synergy between Syreeta's carefree vocals and her husband Stevie Wonder's playing on the Fender Rhodes electric piano. Combined with the funky bassline, this track captures a perfect fusion of this husband-and-wife team, with Syreeta's sweet voice fluttering like a butterfly above the bouncy groove.
